Why ESPN's Jay Bilas says Texas' Mo Bamba is 'one of the most intelligent players in the draft'

Action: The NBA draft arrives Thursday with Texas 7-footer Mo Bamba and Oklahoma point guard Trae Young each expected to hear their names called early.

Reaction: Midway through the college basketball season, you could have engaged in a raging debate about who to take first. Now it’s pretty much assured that Bamba will go ahead of Young, unless the Atlanta Hawks do something a little strange.

ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas has Bamba fifth on his list of draft players and Young ninth. Bilas’ fondness for Bamba is understandable since he is basketball’s biggest wingspan aficionado and Bamba measures 7-10.
