Oklahoma WR Jeff Mead wasted no time making his mark on Saturday against Baylor, bringing down a pass that appeared to be meant for Dede Westbrook during the Sooners' first drive.
Later in the drive, QB Baker Mayfield scored on a 15-yard run to put Oklahoma up 7-0.
Mead accrued 42 receiving yards and a touchdown last week against Iowa State. He has four receptions for 55 yards and two scores this season.
