The former Oklahoma quarterback is attending his first Kentucky Derby. His money is fittingly on Improbable, the No. 5 horse who's among the favorites.
"Never really been around horse racing, so I'm enjoying it," Mayfield told NBC's Mike Tirico. "It's fascinating to see the energy when those horses come around the final turn. People get passionate about it."
