OU’s wild, 53-45, quadruple-overtime victory over Texas included thrills and chills, great plays and bad plays, all leading to a Sooner report card that ranged all over:
Quarterbacking: C.
Spencer Rattler was not good early — his bad-decision interception and his fumble from the pocket set up short Longhorn scoring drives — and Lincoln Riley even turned to backup Tanner Mordecai in the second quarter. Mordecai looked solid early, then got careless, first throwing a ball that should have been intercepted, then fumbling while scrambling untouched. Rattler was better in the second half then excellent in overtime, when he completed five of eight for 71 and made a couple of clutch runs.
