Sooner basketball could use some sunny side, after these last two weeks.
Texas beat OU 69-65 Thursday night at Lloyd Noble Center, extending the Sooner losing streak to four. Literally a week ago, OU was ranked seventh in the Associated Press poll. Now the Sooners are ranked seventh in the Big 12 and will play a pigtail game in the conference tournament, Wednesday night against Iowa State.
But Kruger pointed out that while the results are different from that halcyon stretch when the Sooners were taking down top-10 foe after top-10 foe, OU’s performance was not.
