After OSU’s 41-34 overtime loss to Texas, I shotgunned a few thoughts about the Cowboys’ College Football Playoff hopes.
“Apparently ending their College Football Playoff dream,” I wrote. OSU “no longer had national championship aspirations.” The “Cowboys seem out of the national title picture.”
I heard from OSU fans who agreed and disagreed. So exactly how do we view the Cowboys’ playoff hopes?
Well, OSU remains the Big 12’s best bet, as the only team in the conference with fewer than two losses. If the Cowboys could win out, finish 10-1 with a Big 12 title game victory, they certainly would have an argument.
