Texas’ upset of OSU and West Virginia’s rout of Kansas State has turned the Big 12 football race into a sprint. Only three teams have fewer than two losses. Three others have exactly two losses.
That’s six teams in the running for a berth in the conference championship game in Arlington, and the only thing we know for sure is that the States -- OSU, Kansas State, Iowa State -- control their own destiny.
Because Kansas State plays both Iowa State and OSU, any of the three that wins out makes the title game, which pits the top two teams in the league.
