OU has lost six of its last eight bowl games. That’s what happens when you make the College Football Playoff on a regular basis and run into the likes of Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and LSU.
OSU has won four of its last seven bowl games, which is a fine record, but not as fine as OSU’s 15-8 bowl record before 2013. A 15-8 record is a .652 winning percentage, and only one college football program, with at least 20 bowl games, has a postseason winning percentage better than .652.
So the 2020 bowl games are a chance for the Sooners and Cowboys to assert their previous dominance.
