A most unusual Bedlam arrives Saturday night in Norman. For only the sixth time ever, the Cowboys are ranked higher than the Sooners in the AP poll the week of their showdown.
OSU, 5-1, is ranked 14th. The 5-2 Sooners are ranked 18th.
OU is a solid favorite, because the Sooners always seem to win Bedlam.
OU’s lead in the series is 89-18-7. That’s a winning percentage of .811.
How amazing is that winning percentage? The combined winning percentage of Bob Stoops and Bud Wilkinson, against all teams, was .810.
