NORMAN — As Trae Young came down the floor, there was little doubt he was going to shoot on the possession.
With about 15 minutes left in Saturday's nearly must-win game against Kansas State, Young dribbled the ball to his right, well above the top of the key.
He dipped his shoulder once, then twice, creating just a sliver of space between Young and the Wildcats' Xavier Sneed.
Young's shot — taken about 5 feet behind the arc — fell through the bucket and all of the sudden it felt like January again at Lloyd Noble Center.
