Sooner Nation made the loooong trip to Philadelphia to watch the No. 13 Oklahoma Sooners play the Temple Owls on Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field, however, Temple fans did not show up as promised.
Temple fans and even head coach K.C. Keeler took offense this week when a hot mic picked up Oklahoma reporters referring to the environment at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, as being like a high school football game or a bowl game with few fans in an engulfing NFL stadium. Keeler talked big and Temple fans promised to pack the stadium, but OU fans were the only reason the Owls even experienced a slight uptick in attendance.
