Super 30: A day on the lake sealed Andrew Raym's decision to come to OU

BROKEN ARROW — Andrew Raym’s moment of clarity came sitting on a boat in the middle of a lake.

The hulking Broken Arrow offensive lineman was checking catfish trotlines in Lake Eucha in northeastern Oklahoma. His two best friends and a pair of Tigers teammates, Tyler Crawford and Matt Kaiser, were on the boat with him when Raym settled on what he wanted to do with his college future.

But Raym wasn’t going to cloud the time on the water with recruiting talk, and he certainly — as much as he loves both Crawford and Kaiser — wasn’t going to let his friends know of his decision before he told the person who meant the most to him and his football career.
