Sooners to wear alternate uniforms Saturday vs. West Virginia

NORMAN — Oklahoma will break out its alternate uniforms for Saturday's game against West Virginia (11 a.m., Fox).

The Sooners will wear crimson helmets and jerseys and white pants for the game.

The decision was announced on Twitter.

The last time the Sooners wore this combination of its "Roughrider" alternates was in 2016 in a 38-17 home win over Kansas State.

Oklahoma is 9-2 in its Roughrider alternates, including 4-0 against the Mountaineers.
