NORMAN — OU might not be done with its 2020 recruiting class, but the Sooners are on the board for 2022.
Outside linebacker Kobie McKinzie, from Lubbock (Texas) Cooper High School, announced his commitment to the Sooners on Wednesday morning.
McKinzie, 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, picked Oklahoma over a group of offers that included Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
McKinzie had been committed to his hometown's Red Raiders from February to August of last year before reopening his recruitment.
