Sooners' Kruger gets 600th career win in blowout

NORMAN—Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger doesn't much care for attention.

As time ticked down on the Sooners' 81-51 blowout win over Kansas State that was Kruger's 600th as a Division I head coach, three of his players quickly converged on Kruger for a congratulatory hug.

As Kristian Doolittle, Dante Buford and Jamuni McNeace came over for the embrace, Kruger let out a bit of a smile and accepted the congratulations, saying a quick thanks. But he didn't linger.

Kruger had to get over to shake the hand of Bruce Weber, the Wildcats coach.
