Oklahoma has forced just five turnovers in its first six games, with all but one of those coming on interceptions.
The Sooners have also struggled to tackle, though, leading to a balancing act as interim defensive coordinator Ruffin McNeill works to fix both of those issues.
“Let's make sure we have great fundamentals and tackle first and then we'll go from there,” McNeill said.
Cornerback Tre Norwood said forcing the issue on turnovers has been an emphasis.
“The main thing is getting them down,” Norwood said. “Our biggest thing is the first guy gets there to wrap him up and the guys that follow up have to go for the ball.
