TULSA — The dais and backdrop were set up for interviews in room 138 at the Schusterman Learning Center on OU's Tulsa campus, but Bob Stoops wasn't leaving room 137.
That's where the Oklahoma coaches, there for OU's annual Tulsa Caravan stop, had converted a classroom into a makeshift sports bar, with five screens usually used for instruction showing the Oklahoma men's golf team fighting for a national championship against Oregon.
Stoops wasn't the only coach interested in the match.
Just a few paces before walking into his interview session, men's basketball coach Lon Kruger was getting golf updates on the phone, and just a couple minutes later, women's basketball coach Sherri Coale walked into the room giddy about the golf team, too.
