Offensive lineman Luke Wilson on Thursday announced via Instagram his commitment to OU to become the Sooners' first commit from the 2027 recruiting class.

Listed at 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds, Wilson is already a monstrous offensive tackle from Southlake Carroll High School in Texas. It's still extremely early in the evaluation process for the 2027 class, but Wilson is unrated and unranked by every major recruiting service heading into his junior season.
Wilson's list of reported offers includes Florida State, Arizona State, TCU, UTEP, UTSA and Wake Forest. He already took an unofficial visit to Florida State on June 18.
