Sooners add graduate transfer offensive lineman

Oklahoma picked up a commitment from Virginia offensive lineman R.J. Proctor on Sunday night after a weekend visit to Norman.

Proctor made six starts at left guard for the Cavaliers last season, including every snap in Virginia's Belk Bowl win over South Carolina.

A year earlier, he started five games.

Oklahoma has plenty of need at guard after losing Ben Powers and Dru Samia to graduation from last year's line that won the Joe Moore Award as the best line in college football.
