Son of Gerald McCoy finds new college home after Oklahoma stop

The son of an Oklahoma Sooners legend keeps bouncing around after his original stop in Norman, but he should be at his final destination now.

Pete Nakos of On3 reported Monday that wide receiver Marcellus Crutchfield signed with the North Texas Mean Green out of the Transfer Portal for what should be his final year of eligibility at his fourth school. Crutchfield is the son of OU great Gerald McCoy, who was a two-time First-Team All-American defensive tackle for the Sooners in 2006-09 before a long and successful NFL career.
