Samaje Perine puts up 30 bench reps at NFL Combine; more than every other RB, all but four OLs

Former Oklahoma RB Samaje Perine's brute strength isn't any secret.

In a 2015 SoonerSports.com story, longtime strength coach Jerry Schmidt said Perine, then just a sophomore, reminded him of Adrian Peterson. One player called him "the strongest person on the team." Another said he regularly ran over other players in practice without even trying.

At this week's NFL Combine, Perine had the opportunity to put his strength on display. The 5-11, 233-pound walking gun show put up 30 reps of 225 pounds on the bench -- more than every other running back and all but four offensive linemen.
