Rodney Anderson named to a third preseason award watch list

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award is presented every season to the top offensive player in NCAA Division I football (now known as the Football Bowl Subdivision) who possesses the characteristics that define the former Texas Longhorn and NFL star the award is named after: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, community, tenacity to persist and determination to overcome adversity and injury in pursuit of reaching goals.

This is the third 2018 preseason award watch list that Anderson has been named to. The redshirt junior is also a preseason candidate for the Walter Camp Award, which recognizes the nation’s top collegiate football player, and the Doak Walker Award, given every season to the top running back in college football.
