Report: Chris Paul, Trae Young to participate in H-O-R-S-E competition

Local stars Chris Paul and Trae Young are among those expected to participate in a nationally televised H-O-R-S-E competition, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday.

The NBA and ESPN are nearing completion in planning the event, according to Wojnarowski. Bulls guard Zach LaVine and "a couple of WNBA players and recent NBA alumni" are expected to play.

Young was averaging 29.6 points and 9.3 assists per game before the season was suspended on March 11 due to the coronavirus outbreak. The second-year Hawks guard and former Sooner was named to his first All-Star team.

Paul made his 10th All-Star team.
