Oklahoma kicker/punter Austin Seibert had an excellent freshman season, becoming one of the best at both positions in the nation last season.
Seibert's dual work was recognized Thursday when he was named to the watch lists for both the Lou Groza Award as college football's best kicker and the Ray Guy Award for the sport's best punter.
Seibert is one of only two players on both lists, joining Idaho's Austin Rehkow.
Seibert made 18 of his 23 field-goal tries last season with a long of 46 yards. He also converted all but two of his 72 point-after tries.
