OU's Rambo expects to produce even more in the future

PASADENA, Calif. — After a career night Saturday in the shadow of the San Gabriel Mountains, Oklahoma receiver Charleston Rambo wasn’t disappointed.

But Rambo expects more for himself.

More than the five catches, 116 yards and two touchdowns he had in the Sooners’ 48-14 whipping of UCLA. More than being the Sooners’ primary deep-ball threat as he steps into the role Marquise Brown occupied over the last two seasons.

What is more?

“Two-hundred yard games more,” Rambo said. “It’s just a glimpse from tonight but more to come in conference play.”

Rambo’s performance over the Sooners’ last five games — he was a standout in both the Big 12 Championship Game and the Orange Bowl last season — have no doubt increased his confidence.
