University of Oklahoma golfer Brad Dalke will play for the U.S. Amateur Championship on Sunday after advancing from the semifinals Saturday at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
Dalke, 19, beat Jonah Texeira 3 and 2 to advance. After the front nine, Texeira was two-up, having won holes five and six. But the sophomore came back on the back nine to win holes 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15 and seize control of the match.
"It's still sinking in," Dalke said in a release. "I played really well today and had a tough match with Jonah.
