The Sooner women gymnasts not only are the No. 1 team in the country, a position they have held for six consecutive weeks, but they also are atop the rankings in all four team gymnastics events (vault, bars, beam and floor exercise.)
This is the first week this season, which began the first week in January, that the rankings, both overall team and the team events, have been calculated on the basis of regional qualifying scores.
It is also the first week that the Sooners have ranked No. 1 overall as well as in each of the four team events.
