Last season, Brenna Dowell made a difficult decision. She walked away from her Oklahoma teammates after a strong freshman year to try and win a spot on the U.S. Senior National Team for the 2015 Women's World Championships.
The move paid off, with Dowell helping the U.S. win a gold medal.
She also had a skill named after her, when she performed the first front handspring double pike forward flip at the event.
Dowell watched the Sooners win the national championship last season and is back to help top-ranked Oklahoma.
