OU women's basketball: Sooners sign forward Heavenly Greer

NORMAN — OU women's basketball announced the signing of forward Heavenly Greer on Wednesday.

Greer is an incoming freshman from Ganesha High School in Pomona, California. She averaged 26 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocks, five steals and seven assists per game in her senior season.

Greer is ranked No. 23 at her position by ESPN and No. 59 nationally by Prospect Nation. She was also a McDonald's All-American Game nominee. The 6-foot-3 Greer scored 1,403 points and grabbed 820 rebounds in her high school career.

"Heavenly Greer is going to be a tremendous addition to our roster," OU coach Sherri Coale said in a statement.
