At one point in the first half Sunday, Oklahoma coach Sherri Coale seemed completely exasperated.
“I need you to be a scorer!” Coale yelled across the court to junior guard Maddie Manning after she'd passed up another opportunity to take an open shot.
Coale could have just as easily yelled that to a number of other players during Sunday's 84-57 Big 12 Tournament semifinal loss to Baylor. Two starting guards — Gabbi Ortiz and Peyton Little — finished with two points apiece.
Little, the team's second-leading scorer this season, only attempted four shots Sunday. In the Sooners' two Big 12 Tournament games combined, she managed just nine points.
