OU women's basketball: Ana Llanusa joins 1,000-point club, Sooners top West Virginia 68-58

NORMAN — Ana Llanusa had an impressive performance and joined the 1,000-point club as the Oklahoma women's basketball team beat West Virginia 68-58 Wednesday night at Lloyd Noble Center.

Llanua surpassed 1,000 career points on a layup with 5:04 remaining in the fourth quarter. The shot gave Llanusa her 19th and final point of the game.

Llanusa, a junior guard who starred at Choctaw High School, led the Sooners in scoring. Madi Williams also had big night on offense, finishing with 18 points.

OU controlled the game, leading 17-11 at the end of the first quarter before gradually pulling away.
