OU women cruise past SMU 77-61

DALLAS — Shaina Pellington scored 21 points, Madi Williams had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Oklahoma defeated SMU 77-61 on Saturday at Moody Coliseum.

Taylor Robertson made five 3-pointers and scored 15 points. Ijeoma Odimgbe added 11 points off the bench for the Sooners, who improved to 4-7 on the season.

OU led nearly the entire game and had a 39-24 advantage at halftime.

Williams scored 13 points after the break to help the Sooners maintain a double-digit lead.

OU finished 7 of 14 from beyond the arc, while SMU was 2 for 8.
