Oklahoma swept No. 10 Texas in the softball version of the Red River Rivalry this weekend, adding three more victories to what is now tied for the longest winning streak in program history.
The top-ranked Sooners (41-2) have won 31 consecutive games — tying the record winning streak set in 2016.
Oklahoma has won 37 consecutive Big 12 games, and has rattled off 18 wins in a row against Texas.
More than half of OU's wins this season have come in run-rule fashion, but two of the three games at McCombs Field in Austin, Texas were close.
