Twenty-nine of the nation’s best softball players are competing for 15 spots, plus three alternate spots, to represent Team USA in the 2020 Olympics.
The selection trials have been hosted this week at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City. The final roster will be announced Sunday morning.
Among the hopefuls are three former Sooners: Keilani Ricketts, Shelby Pendley and Sydney Romero.
The Oklahoman caught up with them to assess their chances of making the team.
