NORMAN — Freshman quarterback Chris Robison has been dismissed from the program for violating team rules, OU announced Wednesday night.
Robison, a Mesquite (Texas) Horn product, was part of a large group of early enrollees, arriving on campus in January. He went through spring practice the Sooners and completed 3 of 5 passes for 49 yards in the Spring Game.
He was arrested for public intoxication on April 9, the night after the Spring Game, and he was not on campus for summer workouts.
The four-star Rivals' pro style quarterback committed to Oklahoma in June 2015, choosing the Sooners soon after Lincoln Riley's arrival in Norman.
