OU men's golf climbs to No. 1 atop pair of rankings
The Oklahoma men's golf team moved into the nation's top spot in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll and the Golfweek Sagarin rankings on Friday afternoon.
The Sooners opened the spring season ranked second.
The Sooners return to No. 1 for the first time since October 2020, when the team finished as the runner-up at the East Lake Cup. OU received 13 first-place votes, followed by second-ranked Vanderbilt, who received four first-place votes.
Oklahoma boasts six top-30 players, including four inside the top 10.
