NORMAN — Lon Kruger knows how hard it is to win a game in the Big 12 Basketball Tournament.
While Kruger and OU haven't had a lot of success in Kansas City in recent years, the Sooners have some things working in their favor this time.
Coming in as the No. 3 seed, they are automatically in the quarterfinals. They are opening against a physical No. 6-seeded West Virginia team, but one they know how to compete against.
“Both teams are going to be motivated to do whatever they have to to play on Friday night,” Kruger said.
