NORMAN — Austin Reaves is the Big 12 Player of the Week.
The conference announced the honor on Monday after Reaves led the conference in scoring last week.
Reaves scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Sooners' game against Texas on Tuesday. The redshirt junior guard finished the week with a 41-point performance against TCU, making the game-winning basket in the final seconds of the Sooners' comeback over the Horned Frogs.
Reaves is the first conference player in two years to score over 40 points in a game. Former Sooner Trae Young was the last player to do so.
