NORMAN — Brady Manek has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America academic all-district team.
Forty-one athletes received the honor across all district, and five athletes were selected from district seven, which OU is a part of. Baylor's Freddie Gillespie, Texas Tech's Davide Moretti, Oral Roberts' Emmanuel Nzekwesi and Nebraska-Omaha's Matt Pile all join Manek on the all-district team.
Mank is pursuing a degree in management and has a cumulative 3.53 GPA. The junior forward is averaging 15.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as well.
Being named to the all-district team puts Manek on the ballot for CoSIDA academic all-american honors.
