SULPHUR — University of Oklahoma interim president Joe Harroz and athletic director Joe Castiglione go back a long way.
Harroz worked closely with the athletics department during his time as the schools’ Vice President of Executive Affairs and as the school’s general counsel through 2008.
Now the two are paired again after Harroz was named interim president a little more than a month ago.
“He’s just an exceedingly smart person, well-liked and well-respected by so many people,” Castiglione said of Harroz at Thursday’s OU Board of Regents meeting at the Chickasaw Retreat and Conference Center.
