OU football: West Virginia quarterback Austin Kendall questionable for Saturday

West Virginia starting quarterback Austin Kendall is questionable to play Saturday at Oklahoma, Mountaineers coach Neal Brown said Monday on the Big 12 teleconference.

Kendall, who transferred from OU to West Virginia in January, injured his chest last Saturday in a game against Iowa State.

"We’ll go out this afternoon and he’ll throw a little bit," Brown said. "I think he’ll be questionable for Saturday. It will depend on how much work he is able to do."

Kendall has averaged 208 passing yards per game with nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. He has completed 66 percent of his passes.
