Norwood takes advantage of opportunity with two interceptions
LUBBOCK, Texas — The ball just seemed to find Tre Norwood’s hands on Saturday night.
“Just a blessing is how I describe it,” Norwood said after his two first-quarter interceptions helped OU blow out Texas Tech 62-28. “Thankful for the opportunity. Grateful for the opportunity.”
Norwood was making his first start since the 2018 Orange Bowl and made the most of the chance.
He found out early in the week that he would get the start with safety Delarrin Turner-Yell out.
Norwood had played in the first five games of the season but was still working his way fully back after missing last season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
