NORMAN — It was more violent knockdown than form tackle.
Tre Brown blitzed from his corner position without any Longhorn looking in his direction. The sneak attack ended in a safety as Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger crumpled to the end zone turf at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Brown's safety was the defining defensive play the last time Oklahoma and Texas met — a 39-27 Sooner victory in the 2018 Big 12 Championship game.
Brown, now a junior, looked back on the play as OU prepares to face Texas at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Cotton Bowl.
