NORMAN — Wednesday could be a very quiet day for OU.
Here’s a look at three questions that could be addressed during the late signing period.
1. Will they hold onto Reggie Grimes?
The four-star defensive end from Brentwood, Tennessee, has been committed to the Sooners since late November.
But Grimes opted not to sign in December.
Grimes has said since that he’s steadfastly committed to the Sooners and hasn’t shown any wavering publicly.
The biggest hurdle to signing Grimes might’ve been the retention of the coaching staff.
While two coaches did leave — running backs coach/special teams coordinator Jay Boulwater and outside linebackers coach Ruffin McNeill — the coaches that will work directly with Grimes haven’t changed.
