NORMAN — Jalen Hurts was blunt in his assessment of his ability to hang onto the football after last week’s win over Baylor.
“Yeah my ball security, it sucks,” Hurts said then after fumbling three times. “So I'll try to fix it.”
Saturday against TCU, Hurts’ fumble problems came back at an inopportune time.
But Oklahoma was able to overcome it yet again as the No. 9 Sooners squeaked out of Owen Field with a 28-24 win over the Horned Frogs.
With the win, the Sooners (10-1) clinched a berth in the Big 12 Championship Game, where they’ll face Baylor.
