NORMAN — OU will have a bye week before the Big 12 Championship Game after all.
The Sooners' game at West Virginia, already postponed once two weeks ago due to COVID-19 issues on OU's end, was canceled Thursday after the Mountaineers shut down football operations for seven days due to the virus.
The league announced the decision Thursday.
No. 11 OU will play No. 7 Iowa State for the league title Dec. 19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. That game will kick off at 11 a.m.
