Following a meltdown against Kansas State on Saturday, Oklahoma recieved good news in the form of a commitment the next day.
Four-star wide receiver Jalil Farooq announnced his commitment to the Sooners, helping Oklahoma pass Texas, Wisconsin and Georgia for the No. 12 in Rivals latest 2021 team rankings.
Farooq, an Upper Marlboro, Maryland product, is rated the 190th best player in the 2021 class. He marks the 15th commitment for Oklahoma, who is now that much closer to a Top-10 class.
By passing Texas, OU now has the top Big 12 class.
