OU football: Rhamondre Stevenson entering NFL Draft

NORMAN — A little more than a week after a monster game in the Cotton Bowl, OU running back Rhamondre Stevenson announced his next move.

Stevenson declared for the NFL Draft on Thursday, saying playing "at the highest level of football possible" was his aspiration since he was 7 years old.

In just six games this season, Stevenson ran for 665 yards and 7 touchdowns, averaging 6.6 yards per carry. He added 211 yards on 18 catches.

In the Sooners' 55-20 Cotton Bowl win over Florida, Stevenson had 18 carries for 186 yards and a touchdown, earning Offensive Player of the Game honors.
