The Oklahoman's Ryan Aber and Jason Kersey were part of the media which had a 30-minute look at OU football practice on Monday.
The Sooners had their first practice in full pads and Aber and Kersey provided some details on what they observed in this OU Update:
The biggest takeaway was the first glimpse of Frank Shannon on the field in more than a year. Shannon served a 1-year suspension for violating the school's Title IX sexual misconduct policy.
"We saw Joe Mixon in the spring, so that wasn't quite as surprising," Kersey said.
