NORMAN — The highs and lows of Parnell Motley’s career are no secret.
When Iowa State went for a two-point conversion in the waning seconds of its game against Oklahoma earlier this year, Motley ran straight toward the receiver the ball was thrown to and grabbed it. He ran away holding the ball, saving the Sooners’ win.
Just a week earlier, in Manhattan, Kansas, Motley laid on the ground and kicked up at a Kansas State player. The move led to an ejection and forced him to watch the Sooners’ loss in his street clothes.
Motley’s career at Oklahoma has been filled with ups and downs.
